Trinity Pre-School
Parent's Morning Out

Trinity
United Methodist Church
conducts a comprehensive weekday program for early childhood development to include children from the ages of 1 year to 5 years. The program is offered as a special service to the community to enrich and expand the church school program and to help children grow mentally, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually. The program admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.

For ease in identification and implementation of such a large program, it has been sub-divided into Parents’-Morning-Out (for one and two year olds) and Pre-School (for three to five year olds).

GOALS: The learning goals of the Pre-School / Parents’-Morning-Out are:

  • To develop oral language skills.
  • To develop physical and muscular coordination.
  • To develop an independence and confidence in oneself.
  • To improve thinking ability and problem solving.
  • To respect the property and rights of others.
  • To broaden knowledge of the world.
  • To be inquiring, seeking and aware.
  • To become aware of God’s love, His world and how He planned it.

The teaching staff strives to create an environment full of opportunities for the development of these learning goals.
