As you prepare for the holidays, wrap your presents in earth friendly ways.   Since shiny gift wrap and ribbon cannot be recycled, recycle things you have into gift wrap: Old fabric, the Sunday comics, brown paper bags, the financial and real estate pages, gift wrap and bags saved from previous years.   To tie the gifts consider yarn, twine, rope, shoe strings, and natural vine.  For decorations consider small twigs, greenery from bushes, dried flowers, handmade ornaments, and small gifts that can then be used.   Your packages will look appealing and the earth will have less trash.
