Worship
Children are encouraged to participate in all aspects of worship. Children participate in community worship, guided by their parents and church family. Communion in the United Methodist Church is open to children. Parents should decide whether their children are ready to take part in this sacrament. Some parents elect to wait until after confirmation (sixth grade) before encouraging children to take communion.
