Want to care for others and build new relationships this year?

Come and learn about Trinity’s Lay Visitation Team Ministry by attending our two training sessions in the chapel on Sunday, February 19 and 26 at 9:30 AM.
The first session will address spiritual issues at the heart of pastoral care. The second session will address practical issues like scheduling visits, obtaining communion kits, communicating with Trinity staff, and ethics.

Pastoral care is the work of all baptized Christians. The responsibility of caring for others belongs not just to ordained clergy, but to every member of the body of Christ.

The mission of our Lay Visitation Team Ministry is to provide pastoral care for homebound church members through the devoted and disciplined company of other Trinity members. Through monthly visits that may include caring conversation, prayer, and Holy Communion, you and another Trinity member will bring the love of God and the fellowship of our church community to those who are no longer able to make it to our church building.
